MAIN LINE · THE COMMUNITY NOTEBOOK
St. Davids has its own rail stop and an institutional landmark in Eastern University. Eagle Road's campus and nearby Fenimore Woods offer a landscape-led introduction, distinct from downtown Wayne even where postal addresses use the Wayne name.

Eastern University identifies its main campus as St. Davids and notes that some navigation systems call the address Wayne. That distinction is helpful when evaluating listings here. The campus landscape includes Willow Lake and historic Walton Hall; nearby Fenimore Woods preserves another piece of the former estate setting. Check current park access before planning a stop.

The campus's water features and landscaped grounds contrast with the railway corridor and surrounding residential roads. Eagle Road and Chamounix Road provide different approaches, making a specific address more informative than the postal name.
St. Davids station serves Paoli/Thorndale from Chamounix Road. Check the walk to your destination and its actual entrance; a Wayne mailing address does not identify the nearest station.
Use the station and Eastern's published campus address as two separate map points. Travel between them and the residential streets you are considering. If including Fenimore Woods, read the township's project notice first; avoid building your itinerary around facilities that may remain closed.
